Asmcom's USB Stable Power 5VDC Connector Loom and Major Stock Update Last updated: 14th July 2026 Our website will remain temporarily offline until Monday, 27th July 2026 while we prepare a significant new inventory release and implement several technical improvements designed to deliver the **best possible performance and reliability from the final generation of Hitachi-LG Data Storage UHD drives**. First of all, we would like to thank everyone for their patience and support over the past few months. We know the delays have been frustrating, and we genuinely appreciate everyone who has stuck with us while we worked to get everything right. We am pleased to confirm that we are now ready to reopen our website on Monday, 27th July 2026. As many of you know, we made the decision to improve our new Asmcom USB Stable Power Looms by increasing the cable length from 100cm to 200cm and using a heavier gauge wire to ensure the best possible performance and power stability. Although this delayed the project, we believe it was the right decision. The second prototype looms performed brilliantly during testing. We successfully tested 12 BD100 UHD discs using both the Hitachi BP55 cross-flashed to BP60NB10 1-00MK and the Hitachi BU40N running firmware 1-03MK, installed in the Vantec NST-510S3-BK enclosure. Every disc was read successfully with no read errors whatsoever. Testing was carried out using both a Mac Mini M4 Pro and a Dell Precision M7740. We are also pleased to confirm that mass production has now been completed, and we have received our full shipment of Asmcom USB Stable Power Looms Thanks for sticking with us on this. We have now received all of our looms, and over the last 10 days we have been busy preparing a selection of UK, EU and US parcels. Each parcel will contain a new Hitachi drive, power supply and an Asmcom USB Stable Power Loom, all fully tested and ready for dispatch. We are excited to begin shipping orders again and look forward to helping both new and existing customers.
