We are pleased to confirm arrival of our latest batch of Hitachi-LG Data Storage (HLDS) drives dated December 2025 — believed to be among the final production runs prior to end-of-line (EOL). New stock includes: • Hitachi BP55EB40 – Revision 4 hardware • BU40N – Revision 4 hardware with updated internal components The latest BU40N hardware revision incorporates refinements to the internal PCB layout, power regulation and drive control sections. These updates improve overall mechanical tolerance control and rotational stability, helping to reduce the likelihood of circular surface marking on certain disc types.
